CyberVision DVR Alarm cards allow you to connect motion detector sensors, door sensors, barometric pressure sensors, moisture sensors and any other low-voltage sensors or alarm system to your DVR System. Once connected, these sensor inputs can be used to trigger alarm outputs, alarm popup, send email/SMS/FTP alerts, trigger cameras to record and much more based on advanced scheduling selections that can be setup in the Alert Systems software.

Definition
- DI : Digital Input (Alarm input) - GND : Ground
- COM : Common - NO : Normal Open - NC : Normal Close
Status
Change
- Normally opened circuit - Short DI with GND is treated as status changed
- Normally COM is shorted with NC and opened with NO - While "Short COM with NO"and"Open COM with NC"represents signal output
There are 6 actions related to the DI/DO functions :
DI → Camera Recording
- When DI is triggered, DVR will start to record the video of selected cameras.
- Each DI signal can trigger more than one camera recording.
DI → DO
- When selected DI is triggered, selected DO will be triggered and starts to send control signal to the external device (e.g., alarm) within the DO duration.
DI → Zoom
- When selected DI is triggered, selected camera will be triggered and its image will be zoomed in the“Motion/Alarm Zooming area”.
Cam Motion → DO
- When selected camera detects motion, selected DO will be triggered and start to send control signal to the external device (e.g., alarm) within the DO duration.
Cam V-Loss → DO
- When selected cameras lose the video signal, selected DO will be triggered and starts to send control signal to the external device (e.g., alarm) within the DO duration.
System Event → DO
- When system event occurs, selected DO will be triggered and starts to send control signal to the external device (e.g., alarm) within the DO duration - There are two types of system evenst. One is "System Warning”and the other is "System Error”.
