Ver5.01 has adopted some features especially designed for high-level of surveillance. These features include Camera Mask, Multiple Level of Authority, Monitor Password Protection, and so on to build a system with zero dead spot. A European government project has qualified Ver5.01 with HV5000 and HV3000 DVR systems. Those systems could integrate RAID up to 5TB, and Multiple Quad Card to show extra 1 main monitoring and 1 quad monitoring. Details of Version 5.01 are listed as below.
Release Feature:
Camera Mask Detection
Camera Mask Detection enables DVR to recognize camera covering or spraying. When any camera is detected covered or sprayed, DVR will show the warning of ˇ§ Maskˇ¨ in the monitoring screen and will take it as an event recorded in the log.
User Can Self-define Disk Recycle Duration
In previous version, video file will be automatically recycled only when disk is full. From Ver5.01, user can self-define disk recycle duration from 0 to 365 days. If user set the recycle duration for ˇ§0ˇ¨, DVR will not automatically recycle the video data except HDD is full. Even if the video files are recycled, DVR will keep the log file for the last two weeks.
Multiple Levels of User Authority
Instead of only two levels of user authority (Administrator & Users), this version provides administrator to define multiple levels of user authority and the security authorities include "Monitor", "Playback", "Export", "Setup" and ˇ§ Remoteˇ¨.
Administrator can use these five major authorities to define different levels of user authority.
Monitor Password Protection
Add "Live Monitor" in security authorization. If monitor password is enabled, different user account can be assigned to see different monitor channels.
Provide Printing Function in Playback Snapshot and Log Search
Printing function is in playback and event search. Which means you could print snapshot picture in playback mode and print event search logs in event search mode
Support USB COM Device
Because currently the motherboard development trend is few COM port equipped and more USB port supported, users face a critical problem to connect additional devices via COM port to DVR at the same time, for example, PTZ, POS, RF Clock, RAID box, Modem and etc. To solve this issue, V5.01 DVR version supports USB COM device for user to add max 26 COM ports. To make this function works, user should equip a USB to COM device (Converter) to DVR.
Support Maitreˇ¦D POS System
Integrate with Maitreˇ¦D POS system.
Redesign Recording Time Table
Instead of only setting weekly schedule, this version provides user to define more types of recording rules including daily, weekly and monthly and the minimum recording period to be defined in the schedule is changed from 1 hr to 5 minutes.
Support Multiplexer (1 Main monitor+ 4 Quad monitor display)
Combining with new hardware Multiplexer Quad Card (MQ16) release, V5.01 support multiplexer function with one main monitor plus four quad monitor displays. Main monitor can display max 16 channels and Quad monitor can display one or four channels at the same time. The application is Main monitor can be installed in the control center and four Quad monitor can be installed in separated locations so that operators only need to focus on the specific channels.
To enable this function, DVR should install one MQ16 Multiplexer Quad card. Once this card is installed, DVR will automatically detect it and provide the Multiplexer configuration menu in system configuration so that user can assign display channels in each Quad monitor and set the split mode in each quad monitor.
Currently only HV5000 & HV3000 with V5.01 firmware supports this function. SV2000 will be supported later while new SV2000 hardware revision. |
